Merry Christmas – 2008 December 25, 2008

Posted by L in Uncategorized.

Presents are opened. Phone calls have been made. In-laws will soon stop by for a little while.

Breakfast has been had. Dinner is cooking. Birthday cake is still yet to be had.

Hubby and Daughter are destroying package after package of easy-bake-food. Son is spending his iTunes gift card money. I am taking a moment to wish anyone who stops by a Merry Christmas.

For one day, we are all here. For one day, we are taking time to remember that Christ has come. For one day, we are celebrating His birth -regardless of if it is His actual birth date or not.

Every day should be so grand. Every day should be a celebration. Every day He should be in the front of our minds.

Every day we should be so kind to one another.

I hope you, whoever and where ever you are, are having a great day.

Merry Christmas!

yes. every day should be a celebration like this. theres something about this time of year that people become more tolerant and joyful. why not every day like that? well…except for the day after Christmas…like today at the mall with my daughter. Oh. My. Stars! Christmas cheer has left til next year 😯

glad you had a nice Christmas Day!

Hi, Tam. Welcome to my blog.
I usually wait a few days to do exchanges/returns, but this year we headed out the day after too. It was surprisingly not chaotic. The checkout lines were outrageous, but the customer service line was short and friendly. I don’t know if I just hit it right or if that’s a small town thing. Then again, this is one store vs. your mall…

I’m so glad to hear that Christmas was a good time for you and your family. I don’t know why people can’t be in the Christmas mood all year either. Or forget other people, I don’t know why I can’t be in the right mood all year.
